The mount includes a built-in support foot with a 1/4-20 threaded hole that can be used to eliminate strain on the camera. If the Unified DSLR Cage (Small or Medium) is installed, one of the three included Vertical Lens Support Posts can attach to the 1/4-20 thread of the support foot supported by the support post clamp on the DSLR Cage's ARCA Plate. ARRI PL Cap included to prevent dust from entering the sensor area when lens is not attached. Fujifilm G Mount to PL Mount Adapter features a matte black paint on the inside to absorb more light. Additionally, you’ll find a new stainless steel X mount on the back. If you are using the GFX to PL Mount Adapter without a camera cage, you can use the included DSLR Foot to attach directly to the bottom of your camera and lens mount. This allows all the weight to be transferred from the lens mount to the bottom of the camera to avoid any flexing or damage that could occur when using heavier lenses. In our factory, we set the flange focus using collimation tools. You only need to adjust the shims should you find that your camera is out of calibration. The adapter is shimmable by loosening six socket cap screws around the collar area, separating the two sections, and adding color coded shims of various thickness.
